Yeah, I'm one of those people who compared this game to Phasmophobia, but that was the most recent game I've played so I did get Phasmo vibes from this. I'm not gonna lie though... the jumpscares got me!
This was the first game I played on Fright #11. Skip to 1:55.
I'm not sure why people are comparing this to Phasmophobia, this game did its own unique spin on the paranormal investigation. It gave great detail on a back story and storyline, loved the voice acting as well. I gotta ask though, was there any inspiration taken from Grave Encounters? It felt like I was playing a game in the movie (Which isn't a bad thing) All in all, great job!
This game knows how to tell a story and so does the narrator. He seamlessly connects the set pieces together with brief ex positional dialogue. All the way til the end when he becomes apart of the action. This game is a great play, "I just hope you know when the right time to close your eyes is...."

For anyone that trys to compare this to Phasmophobia, this is different, in a good way. Unlike Phasmophobia, Paranormal Entities introduces a narrative. And though it's not fleshed out so much, it gives enough to produce a more immersive experience. I highly recommend this game to anyone that is looking for a spooky ghost hunting experience. Well done, dev!
9/10 would recommend to friends, the storyline and sound design is awesome, though the graphics could use some work as I would glitch around some smaller areas.
This game had a lot of jumpscares, too many for my liking. I don't usually like these types of jumpscares that makes your bottom go for some brown action, but this game actually entertained me because of the story, voice acting and atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed this for these reasons enough. Plus one jumpscare actually got me.... Well, here's my gameplay if ya wanna check it out(I recommend turning down your volume a bit)
I have to be honest, all though my heartbeat was racing while playing this game, it was probably the best paranormal activity horror game I've ever played. Keep making awesome games!

Paranormal Entities took me by surprise, given the limited amount of time the developer had to finish the project. It’s polished and well-written, going to great lengths to assure that the player will be invested. The audio is a notable highlight, especially toward the game’s climax, where the various sounds and musical punches build to a terrifying peak, ratcheting up the fear. Paranormal Entities has a near-perfect length too; telling a brief, scary story without wearing out its welcome. Highly recommended.
