Hey everyone,

Thank you for playing my games.  Jonathan and I worked together to create GameDevHQ.com, a place where  you can learn to tell stories through games.  In the past, there were only a few options available to learn how to build games - either through an institution, a private university, or the school of Google - all of which either cost a lot of money or a lot of time.  We wanted to build something different.

At GameDevHQ, we teach you how to think like a software engineer.  You will learn how to code games in Unity3D from scratch.  You will be able to confidently write code that can manipulate a gaming world.  You will learn level design.  You will learn how to make games.  We also supply Filebase, a plugin we built into Unity3D that can help you build games quickly with thousands of game assets that can be imported into your game scene with a simple click.

We also believe that talk is talk - but the walk is where it's at.  That's why I build these games.  Everything you see in these games were built using GameDevHQ training and assets.  And they didn't take years to develop.  Some took 48 hours.  Others took 10 days.  But all could be completed within a reasonable time frame and we know that if it can work for us, it can work for you too.  They also didn't cost millions of dollars.  With a yearly membership and access to some sound effects, it cost maybe $150 total.
